More...Archive >IEF Capital announces successful completion of the Unibail-Rodamco transaction | | 16-04-2008 | IEF Capital N.V., a joint venture of Bouwfonds Asset Management and Inflation Exchange Fund, proudly announces the successful completion of the purchase of part of the Unibail-Rodamco Dutch retail portfolio.
The portfolio has a total leasable area of approximately 300,000 m2 and consists of approximately 204 high street shops, 19 smaller shopping centres with a floor area up to 10,000 m2 and an average area of 5,000 m2, 20 supermarket premises and 3 retail parks. The portfolio is well-spread over The Netherlands.
The combined size of IEF Capital portfolio is – post acquisition - approx 3.25 billion Euro. The acquisition is in line with IEF Capital's strategy to expand its real estate portfolio with high quality retail properties as a hedge for its inflation products.
